Instructions

First, mark your target direction on the map. Rotate the compass dial so that the inner circle aligns with north on the map. Point the outer compass arrow towards the target direction on the map. Fix this angle in place.

Next, hold the compass horizontally and align the north of the compass with the fixed inner circle direction. Now, the direction indicated by the triangular arrow is the direction you need to move forward.
